I mostly drive my boosted DSM in circles around the DSM factory, and to and fro my GF's house. It's been to the grocery store and the bank a few times, now. I hope someday soon to take it to the Post Office, Best Buy, the junk-yards, the Mitsubishi dealer's parts department, Menards, etc... When I get the windshield fixed and replace the hood with a normal one I may even drive it to a bar or two. It may be FWD and have no ability what-so-ever to apply it's HP to the pavement, but Holy Shiz-nit! It's a whole lot of fun, and it was dirt-cheap. And it's super cheap and easy to keep running. I'm it's last stop before it gets left at the junk-yard itself. And her and I are gonna treat each-other real good untill then. I bought it to be "a car". I demanded a DSM, and it was in my budget. I don't street-race or go to the track. When this one does go to the DSM Gods, I might get an AWD rusted-out beater. Who knows?

And it has a trunk:f-u:

P.S. No hard fellings about the:f-u: I've been drinking. I'm kidding. I'm not kidding about the drinking, just the :f-u: But I'm serious about this: 500Lbs. is no big deal? I make fun of people around here all the time for saying they removed their A/C or power windows to "save wieght". That's all less than 50 Lbs saved, for both. 500 Lbs. is a lot. I think that's even too much for the difference between a FWD and an AWD. 500 Lbs is a small trailer, for God's sake! That's like 4 and a 1/4 hot teenage girls. It's been a decade since I had 4 and 1/4 teenage girls in my car, but I seem to remember that you could feel the weight difference.

ROFL Couldn't help but laugh when I read this. About the F-U's part.

And your next post about the simpson stamps, I have the same ones, about 5 left.

Just felt the need to input.

Iv'e been drinking since 4 :D

Drinking in the day? Are you depressed SmalltownDSMer? :p

I drink during the day and night. I got alot of issues shit helps make them seem smaller

I myself wouldn't go for teenaged. being 21 i could get into trouble haha. Maybe 3 hot sorority girls.

I in no way advocate the seduction or sexual exploitation of children under the age-of-consent. I was merely referring to easily calculated units of weight. I was advocating the use and manipulation of teenage girls as easy-to-move, and easy-to-look-at, units of ballast to achieve the best possible launch. Teenage girls are my favorite-looking type of girls. I'm almost 34. To me, 24-year-olds are starting to look like teenagers. These days, if I had 3 or 4 teenage girls in my car, I'd probably want to strangle them after 4 minutes of listening to them talk. But I suppose they'd probably all be silently texting each-other, instead of actually speaking...Hmmmmm....You know, 18 and 19 are technically still "teenagers", but still totally legal. Giggity!

I'm glad no one here knows my GF!

Ya know, it's daylight savings time. Here in Illinois it's dark at 4:45 pm, and we've got a month untill the solstice. Sometimes I think about how depressing it would be to not be drinking. Humans and ethanol producing yeast: A simbiotic relationship as old as civilization. Some historians even go as far as to suggest that the need to produce steady supplies of beer and wine was a major catalyst in the evolution from a nomadic, tribal life-style into the first city-centered societies.

He's a race car driver guys. Give it up, obviously he can out drive us all. We should just accept that fact. Let him think that the GSX is the best in the world.

And hopefully by some grace of god he will go away. Because he has offered nothing but crap to the newbie. :ohdamn:

Um duh i gave the newbie more than enough reasons to get a gsx then a gst, don,t hate on my experience and unlike others i know what iam talking about.and no i don,t give awd owners a bad name i just say it how it is.

How many FWD DSMs have you owned? How many AWD DSMs have you owned? You speak of no experience or anything logical other your limited intellectual ability to grasp that AWD is not superior.

Not everyone is building for the strip, and those that do don't always prefer AWD for many reasons. Go ahead and race a properly built GST in a road course. Go drag Kiggly's FWD. Go drag Brent Rau. These are all guys not using AWD and beating AWDs.

AWD is not your end all, and take this for what it is worth and not a statement that reflects the reader, AWD is just a blue-print for the strip. It is one person who started a trend and a bunch of people that followed it and live only in their own little DSM world.

AWDs have many strengths and many weaknesses, just like FWD does and just like RWD does.

Next time you have a thought, let it pass.

A viable answer to the OPs question is not "AWD is superior cause I said so with my experiences. K LOL, OMGwtfbbq @ these other people."
