newbie from washington(yakima,tri cities)

im new here and ima be honest and say that i dont know anything bout the 90 gsx i just bought for a 100 dollars. it runs and everything. i live in washington mainly the tri cities and yakima areas. i actually live in mabton. my car will start and run but will die after about 5 seconds of running. i have no clue as to what is causing this. any help is appreciated.

im in the process of doing a search as we speak. i was gonna take it to a shop but id rather learn how to do it myself and learn more about my car in the process.

Learning your car is always a good idea, just a suggestion but maybe if you could take a short video of whats happening more good tuners on here might be able to help you out some more. WELCOME!

1st i would pull off the alternator and battery, take them to your local autoparts store and have them tested..it shouldnt cost you any money and will knock off 2 of the suspecting problems

battery and alternator are brand new. ill try and make a vid of it here in a little bit.

OK well if it starts but wont keep running r u sure its not got a fuel probelm or naytihng like that does it make any nosie or sound wierd when it start( check ## air intake and etc for any blockages
