I have had this problem before, I bought this car about 2 months ago and the guy that had it before me loved to unplug things in the engine bay. I need some help figuring out what these wires are for?

THANK YOU!!!!, the speedo is not working, and i was going to work it on after i took care of this high idle problem. Do you know how I could hook it back up?

Well there should be a clip on that connection too (like injector clips) but if there is no clip, you can just plug it on. I think the other wires on the fire wall are for diagnosis related. While you are down there connecting the speedo sensor, look to see if your knock sensor is connected.

I found the harness dangling in my engine bay. I looked for proper place to plug it but all that is there is a little tube that goes down into the tranny. I'm guessing the dummy that own this car before me broke it off. Can anyone give me some insight on how to fix it and maybe where to find the parts?

Thanks in advance.

i broke mine off while doing my motor swap. it's not that hard to replace. I picked up an OEM one from mitsu. if i recall it was like 90 bucks. it's bolted down w/ a 10 mm bolt. it may be kinda a squeeze to get back there but it's not that bad. make sure before you put it back in you have the G clip on correctly. just be careful. you dont want to drop anything into the tranny.

its a bit tight cause of the mount braket... to make things easy i used a little ratchet with a small extension with a 10mm socket
