new tranny or repair?

I have a 93 eclipse dirt track car and the transmission is welded.. the class I run is not allowing welded tranny. Should I just get another tranny or would it be easier to some how "unweld " the current tranny?

Get new spider gears

Yes, the diff is easy to replace. Do not go waste money on a different transmission if you have any mechanical ability.

For fwd, just use this as a guide.
