Hello all! Figured this would be a good time to introduce myself and Johnny #5, my DD/project/moneypit.

Picked this up early March of 2012, out of pure luck. Ive always loved DSMs and really anything 4g63 powered, and always wanted a GVR4 to call my own. One day on a local forum, a fellow member mentioned he had #5 in his garage collecting dust. Few weeks later, i was the proud new owner of a SW '91 5/2000, and its been nothing but ear to ear grins mixed with the occasional curses and head shakes we all have experienced at the mercy of our cars.

The car came to me pretty well modified, then again it also had a few things that made me think "WTF was this guy doing?".

When i got it, it was:

Build head with Crower springs/retainers
BC101 272's
AEM EMS V1(running SD setup)
Evo pink injectors
Cute, puny, thin FMIC with 2"-2.5" piping and worm gear clamps.
Evoiii 16g
Ported 2g manifold
Ported 2g o2
3" turbo back exh with Vibrant bullet muffler
Unknown SMIM
Tial 50mm BOV
Hallman MBC(set to 18@ purchase, then set to 26 on 91 pump)
Bshafts removed
MLS HG(unknown, possibly evo8?)
ARP Headstuds(unknown grade/style/model)
Step colder 7ES NGKs
ACT racelight flywheel and 2600clutch
Redline heavyweight all the way through(even trans....EEK)
Ground Control coil overs(corner balanced by me)
AGX struts(blown, plan to replace with BCs or ksports/similar soon)

Thats about all i can think of off of the top of my head at the moment,so i'll move on to a couple pics.

How i got him:

Ive got it at about 14psi, which has the 560s at 60% duty cycle. I plan to mess with it a bit more tomorrow. Im hoping for around 450 on 91 pump as a minimum, which should be easy peasy with my 980s and Jeremy of Servion Tuning here in Colorado Springs at the EMS 1s and 2s. It'll still be a daily driver as well, with a .63 hot side until i can build a high comp bottom end and throw the .82 hot side and e85 at it(thats when the fun starts, right?).

Anywho, thats him and this is me. Comment away, and i'll be updating as i go here and there. Thanks for looking!

-Jake

I should also add this isnt my first rodeo when it comes to DSMs. Its been a 15year love affair, if you couldnt tell :)
