New to the site! and have a couple questions

Whats going on guys..My name is drew..Im about to be 18..I have a 1997 GSX..What is the stock boost and 1/4 mile times..and I have a Mitsubishi TD06-17G sitting in my basement off of a GMC Typhoon..Do you guys think this will bolt up with no problem..and would that be a good turbo to run on my GSX with stock fuel management..or would I have to get injectors, fuel pump, etc.

The stock boost on your car is 10-12 if I'm not mistaken. As far as the 17G goes you will need supporting mods to run that turbo, the injectors, fuel pump and depending on what pump you get possibly an AFPR.

well if you researched this on google you will find that your stock boost is rated 14psi on your 2g's and your stock quarter mile time is sumwhat debatable since every source you go to gives you a time relativly off compared to the previuse source but im seeing 14.9's 15.3's i would say more or less 14.9's hope that helps i dunno about that turbo though srry.
ps. i know they say 14psi for us 1g guys but were actualy rated around the before mentioned statement 10 to 12 psi

Oh ok..Thank you guys very much..Im looking to run with my sisters boyfriend's car..hes 16 and drives a freaking evo...this is a goal I would like to acheive..what set-ups would you all run..if you dont mind me asking?

The 17C Is good for low boost, high flow situations (higher compression v6). Here's a compressor map. You'll have to convert to lbs/min.
