Hey guys, i'm fairly new to dsms and I had a few questions about my car.
I dont really post much, I mainly read and search for what I need. I bought my 92 n/a talon a few weeks ago for $100 (has the dohc 4g63), couldnt pass it up, the guy told me that it snapped a timing belt and needed to be retimed. I knew that there were going to be some bent valves so I pulled the head, and I was right all of the exhaust valves bent and 2 of the intake.
I'm getting the head re-worked this weekend for $150, but i'm missing 2 rockers and 2 lifters, how hard/expensive will these be to find?
Also I was reading on here about re-timing the car. Is there a certain tension to adjust the timing belt tensioner to, could anyone go into more detail about that or give me a link to a good thread? The block/pistons are in good shape, the cylinder walls have a little rust coloration on them, will that affect anything? There are no grooves on any of the cylinder walls, no side/side play in the pistons etc.
Lastly, what are some main things I need to do to the car to ensure that it runs correctly?, it has been sitting up since late 95. It will be my dd, although im swapping a 6 bolt gs-t motor into it in about 3-4 weeks, will I need the gs-t wiring harness also, or just the ecu? , I want to get this motor running good also because i have a 91 shell that i'd like to put it in.
Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Wait im confused. You have an n/a dsm with a 4g63 in it? Was it swapped before? Also if you are swapping a 6 bolt into it dont bother reworking the head, unless you want to sell your old motor. Neways a good place to go for how-to's is
