New to DSM's, to trade or not?

I have a 96 Mustang Gt shown here:
1996 Mustang Gt, Beautiful

And this guy sent me an e-mail saying he wants to trade.
I want to do it, but don't really know if it's a good trade or not.
Or if his car is worth as much as mine, So I was hoping you guys could help me.
Here's what he sent me:

its a 1996 eagle talon tsi has the 1st generation 4g63 6 bolt motor in it bored to a 2.5 liter and tuned at 15 psi and 410hp by jake montgomery. engine and tranny, clutch have only 800 miles on them after complete rebuild.
14b turbo and 650cc injectors
tokico shocks
sprint racing springs
sprint sway bars front and back
18" rota rims with brand new zrated firestones.
extreme cold air
apexi turbo timer
greddy cluster
3 in greddy exhaust from front to back.
engine has forged internals(rods, pistons) and is capable of holding 800 hp easy.
car is in great shape always garaged and never driven in bad weather. i always use the best fluids to has amsoil synthetic in engine and in the tranny always and only the best gas. jake montgomery did most of the recent work on the car and i have his personal number and info he is the one i usually always go to. thanks for your time.i think thats all but might have missed somethings oh yeah has a nice system to 1 mtx ten in back with 4 channel eclipse amp all custom put in trunk

You cant have a 2.5 liter, 15psi @ 400hp is a joke, 14B turbos and 650cc injectors cant even get near over 400hp.

Well the hp number he told you it is tuned for with those mods is a lie. A 14b will not put out 410 hp, especially at 15 psi. So thats one thing that hes lying about to you.

I would if it was a craigslist ad. I'll keep my eye out for it though, and if he posts it i'll flag it.

Thanks again guys, I would of been mad when I figured out it didn't have 400hp. Then again, it seemed fishy to me that it made that much power so easily, There isn't all that much done. It probably doesn't even have forged internals!

It still has the stock turbo and intercooler(As far as i can tell), But seems to be making a good bit of power with an AFC. Twice that of stock, Does he have a Dyno slip? Does he have paperwork for the internals? jake montgomery has built and driven some fast cars! If he really tuned it, I would'nt be doubting it is making that much power, but those numbers seem a little high for the stock turbo on a stock sidemount. I may be wrong but that is just my opinion. It is really up to you. I would rather have an AWD Talon/Eclipse than a mustang any day.

Well see that's why I was so interested, I think it'd be fun to dump the clutch in an AWD car. And I really want a turbo car. Maybe i'll find Jake's number and contact him and see if he knows about this car.

I only know of one 2.5L motor specially made by Slowboy Racing..This is crap either way, your pretty ass mustang needs to be traded for a real awd dsm worth more that that crappy tsi you showed me. You want a car of equal value, so a very clean GSX pushing 400hp for real, and dyno sheets to prove it, Trade for that

That is also a stock 2g t25 turbo. Not a 14b. You should meet the guy and kick him in the nutts.

Im sure theyre maxed out around 50/lbs of flow (correct me if im wrong)
650cc injectors can supply 2600cc of gasoline at 100% duty cylce.

Using a specific gravity of pump gas of .76, that is 2600*.76=
1976 g/min of gasoline.

That equals 4.35 lb/min of gasoline.


Now, you need to know what AFR you will be running? Let's assume 11.5:1 for pump:

11.5*4.25 = 50 lb/min of mass airflow
...
So im sure you could take 650's to 400-420 hp depending on the tune, with decent timing, But not in this case with that T-25 on there. Thats all im saying..T25+650's = Not 410hp
The guy didnt even mention a fuel pump or anything to tune with either. and if thats a SAFC, I wouldnt even feel comfortable having 410hp with one of those. Can adjuast timing for spark at all

I agree. I was thinking the same thing, There was no mention of supporting fuel mods. I didnt even see a regulator under the hood. Not to mention, He stated 15 psi. on a 14b. Not happening. It does look like a t-25 on there in the pic though.,,
