Ok I just bought my 99 gsx a couple weeks ago and when i bought it the "check engine/service engine soon" light was on. So I took it to Autozone to get an OBD scan and it gave to error codes. The first one was "p0455"(large leak in the EVAP system) and the second code was "p0170"(Fuel Trim Malfunction (Bank 1)). Also I noticed a hissing sound this morning while the car was running, and I found two vacuum lines near the bottom right corner of the radiator disconnected.....I'm not sure what or where they go to though
(I'll get some pics up tomorrow of the vacuum lines).
Can someone pls help? I would really appreciate it?
-thx

When I bought my spyder gs out of Ohio, I had a large vacuum leak also....it ended up being the brake booster had a hole in it. Some moron who was tryin to put a car stereo in wanted to drill through the firewall and hit the booster....the whole wasn't big enough to notice any brake problems, but I could hear the hissing coming from the drivers side. since the brake booster was part of the vacuum system, when I replaced it everything was fine, so you could check that out...it may not have a hole in it, but could be leaking
