ok, well, I am working on a custom project, and if it works out it will be another TB option for us, with the stronger full shaft instead of a half shaft.
basically its a 70 or 75mm (outside measures just under 75mm inside measures 70mm)
from a 1998 ford f250 v8.
the exterior looks exactly like the ford motorsports racing TB that is 70mm. the only difference I see is the throttle cable end...
to make it work you have to pull the throttle plate out, and remove the TPS, then slightly pull the shaft out and rotate it 180* (making the spring tighter not looser) then put the plate back in. (the plat goes in the same way it came out, but now the screws are backwards)
now the dsm cable will fit into it just like its supposed to, but a throttle stop for both sides will need to be made... I am working on this now, and I will post some pics of the process. got the TB free, so thought I would mess around a bit and see what I could come up with.
