New spyder, need help PLEASE!

I just a bought a 1997 2.4l spyder, so i can start rebuilding the talon... The car runs great and has mods such as apexi exhaust, mass air flow sensor swap or sumthen like that, apexi fuel regulator, and more.... I don;t have much experence with this type of engine.

Here in indiana odd numbers have to emission test this year, and since its a 1997 they just plug it into the ecu and test for codes, if no codes u pass, well this is what it said on the emmisions paper:

OBD details:
Onboard dianostic result: FAIL
"MIL commanded on"
Check engine light status: commanded ON
Incomplete monitors: EGR,EVAP, OXYGEN, OXYHEAT, CATALYST
diagnostic trouble codes: p0100, p1400
p0100: mass or volume air flow circuit malfunction
p1400: Manufacture controlled aluxlliary emission controls

what would be the easy way just to pass.. cause the car runs GREAT

Looks like the Mass Air Flow Sensor swap or something like that is causing one of your codes. Is your MIL/CEL on?

no the check egnine light is not on.... but the command is... so it must be burned out or disconnected

Thanks for the info Defiant...... i called the mistu dealer and they acted like they haven;t heard anything about it. ... If anyone has sucessfuly gotten around this.. help! but i guess i may have to go get a 99 ecu.
