I recently installed a new spec stage 2+ clutch and a new friction surface in my fidanza flywheel. I tried adjusting the upper clutch pedal stop and moving the master cylinder pushrod in and out on its adjustment. The clutch grabs right off the floor with just enough adjustment in order for the master cylinder bleed valve to function properly. If i adjust it off the floor anymore the pressure builds up in the slave and the clutch stays partially engaged and pedal releases the clutch very high. i was wondering if others who have this clutch/flywheel combo have had this problem? i am also using the spec supplied TOB and have two thin crush washers under the fork pivot ball. also would this be a situation where an extended slave pushrod would be of help?

dood.... im having the exact same problem.. clutch grabs just barely off the floor.. and i cant get it to shift alot of the time. i have a new fidanza and clutchmasters stage 1. how can we get some travel back in the system?

it may just be the nature of the beast with the clutch/flywheel combinations we have. i noticed that the spec clutch disc i installed was thicker than the act disc. we might be stuck with this right off the floor engagement until the disc starts to wear. still seems like there should be something we can do about this
