I was into DSMs a few years ago but got out due to college. Just bought myself a new ride... and i need a nickname for her! help me out, check out the mods:
Engine
---High flow billet oil pump, ---waterpump, ---all gaskets and seals, ---oil filter, ---Eagle rods, ---Weisco forged pistons 8.5:1 compression ratio rated at over 900 HP, Brand new rebuilt head w/ Slowboy Stage II Cams, ---Balance shafts removed, ---ARP head studs, ---ARP rod bolts, ---Crower titanium retainers and upgraded valve springs rated at 8,500 RPM, ---new alternator, ---multi layer steel reusable head gasket.
Driveline
---KYB AGX shocks, ---Eibach pro lowering springs, Prothane motor mounts, ---Fuzion ZRi tires 225/50/16, ---16"x8" 3000gt Aluminum rims, ---3000gt VR4 "big brakes" 2 piston front calipers, ---slotted and drilled rotors, --- Hawk ceramic brake pads, ---New axles, ---rebuild driveshaft, ---4 bolt LSD rear end, ---custom rear suspension arms (eliminates understeer), ---Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch, ---Lightened stock flywheel, ---Tranny rebuilt by Road Race Engineering with all the best parts. Taller 1st gear, better syncros, cryo treated gear sets. THIS IS THE SMOOTHEST SHIFTING DSM YOU WILL FIND! ---Custom short shifter w/ Steel bushings for firm precise shifts.
Fuel delivery
---680cc injectors, ---walbro in tank 255LPH high pressure fuel pump, ---SAFC II fuel computer (the new style), Palm Pilot with Pocket Logger software for data logging and tuning.
Intake
---Second Generation MAF, ---K&N filter, 3" intake tube, ---Silicone and rubber flex couplers with stainless steel T-clamps, ---custom built 2.5" polished aluminum intercooler pipes, ---32"x10"x3" front mount hybrid bar/plate and tube/fin intercooler, ---modified 1G blow off valve routed back into the intake for best driveability. (BOV is still pretty audible because of the 3" intake. It CAN be dumped to the atmosphere and still work fine.)
Turbo and Exhaust
Turbonetics T3/TO4E 57 trim compressor (polished) and a stage III turbine wheel mated to a Ceramic coated (inside and out) .63 A/R turbine housing with 360 degree thrust bearing (makes turbo capable of staying together up to 35 psi), ---Tubular manifold, ---turbonetics 35mm external wastegate (routed back into downpipe), ---custom 2 piece 2.5" to 3" downpipe for easy removal, ---Full length 3" exhaust, ---Stainless steel Magnaflow muffler 3" straight through for least restriction. Car is VERY low toned. Sounds nothing like a typical 4banger. More like a 5.0 mustang w/ Glass packs.
Interior
Greddy EGT guage, --- autometer boost, oil pressure, and A/F ratio guages, ---White guage faces for the stock guages, they are backlit the same color as the other guages and are brightness adjustable, ---Grant steering wheel, ---5 point harness, ---nice redone red headliner
Other new parts
---radiator, ---slim line fan, ---timing belt, ---ECU, ---dark tint all around. Professionally done, no pealing or bubbling, brand new alternator
