Easiest just to link to my photobucket. I pretty much bought my 96 gsx about 3 months ago and spun a rod bearing the night i bought it. pretty crappy luck, but it gave me an excuse to start working on the motor and doing what i wanted right away. Figured id share a few pics, i picked up the motor from a local machine shop yesterday... had it cleaned up and everything honed, the crank checked and all that good stuff....
so far upgrades.... :

eagle rods
tial 38mm external
HKS SSQV BOV
Garrett t3/t4
delphi 850cc injectors
Aeromotive fpr
dejontools 2 stage mbc
prothane motor mounts
Holley 255 LPH fuel pump w/ rewire of course
FMIC
Tokico shocks / springs
B & M short shifter
Fidanza aluminum flywheel
Zoom Stage 3 clutch
probably a few other little things i forgot.
heres a few links to the powder coating job, pretty sick color IMO... i love it

BTW- that engine stand doesnt look to safe, ha
ya that was after a 4 hour trip back from getting it and me having to pick it up and put it on a stand with just me and my neighbor and no engine hoist.... its on there good now, just had to let the muscles relax a bit
