New mod suprises and comments...

I made this so you guys could post some of the mods you were most suprised about and how good they perform. Any mods exceed your expectations? Gains, times, prices, little info would be appreciated!

What information are you trying to get out of this post???? Are you basically asking what's the most power from the cheapest mod??

If so with me being a 2g guy... i would have to say a boost controller and a 14b turbo. $150 can get you both and that's a going to give you alot of potential power.(keeping support in mind)

Actually, I was asking for recommendations more than anything. I just want to hear some stories of mods that suprised people and performed better than they thought/not as good as they thought. Kind of a review post on general things. I'm not asking to explain everything in your engine, just something that stands out in your opinion.

I would have to say that putting a second generation throttle body elbow was the mod that surprised me the most on my 1G car.
For under twenty bucks and a little porting to make it match my throttle body made my 16g spool noticably faster. I really underestimated this mod.
