After my short block rebuild & mods my car was boost creeping to 18psi+

I raced my uncle in his Thunderbird and the turbo took a crap on me. Poooof black smoke and no more power. :cry:

Oh well new snail for me :shhh:

Keep growing that thing guys. az2gnt started out just being 2 of us and now we're up to over 20 members. Got us a Yahoo group too. :p

It doesn't look like any of you are up and running at 100% right now, but are any of you thinking of making it to the DSM Shootout in Norwalk, Ohio this August? I'm taking the old 2GNT there. Got a couple guys from SoCal coming with in a 2.5L Talon. We'll be headed across the north half of the state up on i40 probably Tuesday the 10th. Maybe we'll see one or two of you guys back on track and ready to come along?
 
I'll be bringing a camera to the meet to showcase the abq dsmers' cars. They'll be posted by next monday.

I have noticed a lack of intreset in the meet. I was thinking about changing the date and place, the place is easy, We can meet @ one of the camp grounds behind the Sandia's on the way to the peek.

Everyone can bring BBQ stuff and I will cook, I can cook really good. What do you all think. Please let me know
 
No offense to your cooking ability, Cyc, but Chinese food on saturday still sounds like a really good deal. I am still up for saturday, in fact i've planned my week's schedule around it. dunno if anyone else has gone that far, but the original place/time sounds like the best bet...

Do you want this (meet) to be a monthly thing, or just something that we do at the drop of a hat? If we had a planned, scheduled time to meet every month, it would start to dispel that "lack of interest" because we would be able to meet regularly and check out what others have done to their cars from the past month. Just my 2 cents.

Hi peeps I'm also from Abq in the Alameda area by the balloon park. Also friends with Luke223 and have a 90 Talon TSI. We are up for anything and I can go on the 10 just a little late because I get off work at 7:00.
Anybody going to import night at the drag strip the 23???? We are going to be there.

CycloneTSI John has an extra 14B turbo with NO shaft play in cherry condition he can sell you.

wow all sort of NE heights ppl showin up. im over by the academy :thumb: . anyway its not that i lost interest in the meet its that first my damn work schueled me for like exact time so i cant even try to make it. plus my DSM still has no engine and i would feel really weird showin up to a DSM meet in my toyota pickup :| . i still think alot of ppl are interested they just havent been talkin about it.

and Pat i think cyc found himself a 16g turbo (not intirly sure....dont qoute me) but i might be lookin for a good 14b. i figure its a damn good upgrade for my t25. though i still need a 6bolt engine first OMG . and if any of yall know where a 1g BOV is for sale that yet another thing im looking for.

NUK he also has a 1g BOV in great shape and the only reason he replaced it was because he went with a new one that had the crush kit installed. Pm him with a reasonable offer and its yours! Damn I sound like Johns parts pimp. :)

That would be kickass to see dsms whipping the tar out of honduh, nissan, etc. I've never been to an import show/event ANYWHERE, so that would be one hell of a good way to start.

Monthly sounds good. I'm still down to eat chinese. Maybe the campgrounds next time.

How about the second Saturday of each month?
