Yep still at 15psi. I checked out the jeffgst site earlier, but i didnt really understand it to well.

If you'd be willing to come to PA I could help you tune the car. I have a wideband and laptop. You'd just need to bring your DSMLink cable. I have downloaded the newest update from Link already, v2.5.2.26 as of 4-19-2008. Let me know via PM. And what do you mean worried about injector duty cycle? I ran my e316g @ 22 psi with the stock 450's and 123% injector duty cycle once, nothing wrong with my car. I think your knock may be phantom knock also. Make sure your knock sensor is tight.

First you need to log ltft lo, ltft mid, and stft. Have dsmlink running and rev till mafraw reads 50hz. You can either post a log of that or do the following.

At the 50hz point add ltft lo to the stft. Then change the 50 hz slider in the airflow table by whatever percentage you get from adding the ltft lo and the stft.

Ok guys. I might be starting to figure this out now, but we will see.Ok i came up with a 7% correction factor for the maf compensation. (15+14.7)/(13+14.7)-1
(29.7/27.7)-1=.0722 = 7% I think

Could someone please check my homework:D

Did you check the mafraw and boostest at 5000-5500rpm's or are you just saying my math is correct.

Here is the 50hz log. What do you guys think? Thanks for all the help im learning alot, and i like it:)

Cool. I really appreciate the help man. Here's that link for the hz log.Just to be completely sure. I need to add 7% to the 1400hz airflow slider, and then taper off the rest off the slider's

I would add 2% to the 50hz slider. Now you need a log revving to 150hz.

Man as much as i'd love to keep these logs coming. I dont think i should do the 150hz right now. My neighbors will have there shotgun outLOL. Tommorrow for sure.

LOL. I will check it out tomorrow. Just make sure the car is warmed back up.

Here is the 150Hz log

Alrighty. Should i do a pull or whats next? Sorry im completely new at this, but i have already learned alot. What told you that i should go -3% on the 150 slider?Would i just add the ltft mid to the stft?

If you look at your STFT's, you'll see it's bouncing around -3% which means you should subtract that % air from the 150Hz slider.

This link will help you understand what you're doing with idle and rev tuning:
maftcalibrationbyloggedboost [ECMTuning - wiki]

Next you'll want to do the cruise tuning and then double check that idle, rev, and cruise are all good and then you can start WOT tuning.

I would also look into what's causing the constant 3 counts of knock.

Got it from looking at the stft and ltft mid. I used a number in the middle of the sttft since it was moving around some then added it to the ltft mid.

Maf calibration is next. The only way I know to do it is the long way. That is run a low amount of boost and then calibrate a airflow slider based on the hz reading between 5,000-5,500. Then once done with that turn the boost up a little and repeat until the boost is at the desired level. You can do it this way and I will help you or you can blend in the sliders that are below the 1200hz one which we already adjusted. I wouldn't do that last way because I consider it to be guesssing.

Also before you do a pull I would decrease the timing by a couple of degrees across the board to see if it gets rid of the knock and to keep it from knocking more.

Where do i find the stft? I mean do i have to go into values or something

You are already logging it. Look at the right side of your log. To see the values that will be logged hit f4 and look at the list on the right side.

Here's another log i just did. I pulled 1 degree timing across the board. Knock still there im going to look into that tommorrow when the engine is cooled off.I could definetely tell i was missing that 1 degree. Not a huge difference, but enough to know.I did this log in 2nd gear because theres really no where around to safely hit 100mph
