i have a 2g. and i wanted to do a short route ic pipe setup on my fmic. i was wondering instead of getting a gm maft setup, just moving my stock mas into my ic pipe. would it work? please help. thanks.

that sounds like a pretty good idea if you can get the mas to mount their. I am curious myself if that will work :talon:
 
that should work but where is your filter? i dont see it, if u route the MAS into the pipe wit ha filter it should work but i would leave it the way it is. all it would do would increase airflow by minimal gains, but test it out maybe you just invented sumthing.
 
I researched it a while ago and it was teh general consensus that it won't work.
 
The plastic sensor would never hold the pressure and a karmen vortex mas will not work correctly under pressure...

If you want the bov sound that bad spend the money on a vpc or maft and do it right but spending 200 for a maft, 30 for a sensor, and 150+ for an aftermarket bov just for some noise, that quite honestly gets annoying after a while, doesnt make sence to me :thumbdown
