New Holset 7-blade 54/78mm HX35 turbocharger. This is a relatively quick-spooling turbo with the capability of generating over 500whp and will fit into any of the popular turbine housing available for the HX35. This particular model features the 7-blade compressor which has better high-boost efficiency than the 8-blade compressors used on older versions of the same turbo.
This is a new construction turbo built in-house by me for a customer who placed the order but stopped replying to PM's once the turbo was built, so now it's gotta go. This turbo is a mixture of OEM and aftermarket parts to keep durability up and cost down....the compressor wheel and all of the internals are OEM Holset while the bearing housing and turbine shaft/wheel are aftermarket. I've used turbines from this source for over 5 years now and they've held up to 44psi and over 80 lb/min on a different application without a single turbine failure, so they're definitely a quality piece.
Proper oil supply and drainage is crucial for the Holset center housing. This turbo must be supplied with no more than 72psi of oil pressure under load or you risk causing oil-related damage to the turbo for which I will not accept responsibility. The oil drain must be as straight as possible, have no kinks, and must not dip below the fitting on the oil pan at any point. Improper oil drainage will over-oil the cartridge and cause damage that is not covered by any type of warranty service. Proper installation is required- if you don't know what you're doing and you damage the turbo in some way during installation, I will not replace the parts that you damaged under warranty.
The price for the complete turbo as seen in the photos is just $600 SHIPPED to the lower 48 states only- I cannot ship to Canada or Internationally.
