New headlights

After getting tired of my crappy junkyard 2gb headlights, and the fact the adjustment was bad on them as well (had to use high beams to see at night), i decided it was time to upgrade.
I went on ebay and found a shop near me who sold headlights for cheap.
Scored me the pair of 2gb headlights for $104 shipped !
Can't wait to put them on the car tomorrow and test the new light output at night.

I will snap before and after pics for you guys after i get my car back tomorrow from the mechanic.

wow thats really nice! let me know if it shines good cus im also looking for a fresh pair of headlights since mine seem to get mosture on the inside cus of a small crack on the inside part . by the way they are OEM type right??

If you just got new headlights instead of new actual bulbs, they probably won't be any brighter unless your old ones were faded. Which you could have cleaned with some wet sanding. Just sayin.

My current lights are crap, the adjustment knob was bad on both, and the driver side headlight was faded badly, already had a shop guy sand and buff it out, looked good for 3 days, and then back to yellowish... i got tired.
I do plan to get h.i.d.'s however later down the road.

hmmm i still cant bealive there $56 each!! maybe its time to get rid of my talon front bumper and swap it out for a 97-99 eclipse front end while im out there..

I pick the car up today brotha. The guy was working on another car and got to my car yesterday in the afternoon. It's done today, i waited cause i don't trust anyone with my car's water pump/timing belt job but this guy is good and trusty.

I promise to post pics up with the new lights today when i come back from the mech and install them. I'm so anxious .

Lol for real. My car finally has ALL maintenance done. Alas...

I didn't forget to post up pics, i will for sure put them up tomorrow, before and after pics.

I've been busy all day running up and down, just got back home and the car is running like a charm, and the weird idle surge is gone... hmm.. these cars are very strange...

Ok it started raining right before i got to the driver side light, but here is a pic of the passenger side installed comparing the old one to the new one.

I looked on ebay forever for oem lights and I was never finding them for a good price or they would be projectors.I looked for months then I finally saw these and ordered a set a couple of weeks ago they were cheap and I figured why not.They looked awsome when I got them and now my bumper fits!I will deffenatly say they are worth it.

Yes and BTW I have 6000k HIDs in them and It looks sick.The hids are way more blueish in these lights I think its because these are actually clean

I tested my lights today through a semi-dark neighborhood, and compared to my older lights, these lights light up the whole thing ! My god i can finally drive at night without having to use my highbeams anymore and i can actually see while im driving, .
Next up are the hid's after i get my maft ordeal done.

Yea I had 6000k in my 2g. I would recommend those. You can get a kit for like $45 shipped on Ebay nowadays. Back then I paid $70..
