Here is my DSM story.

Well, if you saw my other thread from a month ago, my car wouldn't start.
So a user on the forums came by to help me out with my problem.
Found out that my valves were sitting on the piston.
So next day I took off the head found 3 broken valves and 4 bent ones.
I took it the machine shop and got quoted $500 to fix everything on the head.
Thinking about the price, I searched ebay for a used head.
Found a rebuilt head for $250. Sweet deal so I bought it.
Bought a Cometic Head gasket, ARP studs, MBC, 14b turbo, and 14b install kit.
Can't wait for my head, MCB, and install kit to get here. Just wanted to share with you guys.
I will keep you guys posted. I got two question, how did the valves break?
They look like they got raped hard. Here is a picture of the valve stem.
And how do I treat my car with a new head?
I'd like to thank chadnum1 for coming over and helping me out.

Timing belt broke or you floated the valves at high rpm. What happened when your car stopped running? I'm pretty sure that happened and you heard it.
New head, get ARP's and warm it up and let it cool off overnight and re-torque in the morning. Boost on.

I don't know what happened. The night before this happened the car ran great.
Then the next morning, I tried to start it up and it wouldn't start. It would just crank and crank.
As for the new head can I drive it kind of hard when I first put the head on or do I have to do some kind of break in?

Put the head on, start the car and let it come up to operating temperature. Then let it cool down and then pull the valve cover off and re-torque the head studs. Reassemble and you are good to go.

Oh cool thanks. So after I re-torque it, I can drive it in high rpms? I want to test out the new turbo.

Hopefully everything comes in today so I can start working on it.
I know for sure the Install kit and MBC is coming in today.
Now I'm off to school then I need to go buy a sh*t load of gaskets because the previous owner didn't care for his car.
