Fuel Pump

Just got the new fuel system in. Its not finished yet but the car is running. Let me know what you think. You can call it crap/pointless if you want.

Next month im putting Manley Pistons & Rod, 272 Cams and a GT35R Turbo on the car.

Looks good to me.

Make sure you use grommets anywhere there is a hole. Even though you are utilizing SS lines, the constant rubbing will (not may) damage the lines.

I would also prefer to have an addtional fuel pressure gauge inside the cockpit (which would need to be T-ed off one of the lines from the AFPR), but that's me.

It looks good to me. Any reason why you are not going to go with a more aggressive cam set? Are you going to stick with the stock springs/retainers? If not then I would go with something like the FP3x's and rev the crap out of it. You are definately going to have a turbo that can flow a ton of air in the upper RPM range. If you go with a real aggressive set of cams and a built head you will see huge numbers in the upper part of the power band. It's just what I would do. Not trying to bash your plans, just my thoughts. Good luck with the set-up.

I have the head built right now. My Car profile is a little behind ive been really busy with my car and havnt had to much time for the internet. I might go with a set of 280. Im looking for a shift point of around 8K. I'll just have to wait and see what happens when I get the car done.

That is about what I would look for. Shifting around 8 to 8.5 should be perfect. That car should move pretty good. Let us know when you get some dyno numbers. :thumb:

I hope your tranny and rear end hold up. I never had any problems with my 3-bolt but the quickest time that I ever ran is in on the left and you should be well below that.

The time I have listed on my profile was back when I was only running 15 psi. I still havent run the car since ive changed the fuel and boost level.

Hey that fuel system looks damn good. Its always cool seeing pics of what other people have done. Gives me ideas of doing things I didnt think of doing before. :thumb:
