Ok I'm having my car towed to Wisconsin where I will be moving in a couple of weeks. I'll have all the time in the world to work on my car to do a motor swap. My question is what type of motor should I put in it. I want something for a daily "summer" driver, but yet it would be around 300-350 whp. Should i just go with the stand 6 bolt swap or bump it up to a 2.1lt. I'm thinking a 6 bolt will hope up easliy and some. I see that sbr has a great stage II longblack. Would be around something Im looking at.
what other websites can you get nice long block or even shortblock motors?

What kind of power range are you looking for from the engine? A rev happy engine? Or more low end brute power? If your going to do a stroker just go with a 2.3L or 2.4L. A great place that I would recommend highly is www.ffwdconnection.com , you custom build these to your specs. and Darren will give you some suggestions, that are always good. the customer service is AWSOME. Both SBR long blocks, and FFWD engine look to be great choices. Your going to spend a little more depending on what you put into the ffwd engine, but you have a fully custom built engine just for you, not some cookie cutter engine.
Good luck and keep us posted with a follow up post on what you went with in here.
