got a few questions for some of you on here. build a .20 over 4g63T with weisco pistons eagle h-beam rods, ARP head/main studs, 4 layer head gasket, ACL rod bearings and clevit mains...it is in time but i cant set the base idle it shows its 15 or more degrees off...and all the marks line up on the crank and cams...itll start right up and run good. but it wont spool freely and i have a check light on? i know use a dwell meter to check but have not done it yet. just wondering what you guys think? i think either a big big boost leak (which im goin to do today) or the wires on my AFC are backwards:mad:

Your build sounds just like mine only diff is I went stroker. So to be clear, what is telling you your timing is off? You have checked with a timing light, with the timing check terminal jumpered at idle with no accesories on? Or is it your afc telling you your timing is off? I am assuming this is on the 1g in your description.
