New Color?

My car is currently a midnight blue but my dad is a painter and his shop just got something in that got my attention. Its a chameleon color. What do you guys/gals think, yay or nay?

Honestly its what you want on your car. I like the color but I think it draws too much attention.

Personally I like OEM colors, but I mean if you wanna do it...do it. It is your car so your choice. I do have a question though: Do you plan on getting the jams done and engine bay? If you ever sell it that will drop a price quickly.

Funny thing about colors like that are they either looks really GOOD or really BAD on whatever they're applied to, not much in the middle ground. The 2g is curvy enough to wear it well but it's possible the color could break TOO much off the curves.

I say if you like it, go for it. I'd love to see a flip-flop 2g just to see one.

SO true, I was thinking of this too.

Sell your car then with that money buy another eclipse thats like black with the clear faded (haven't we seen them all) which will make it cheaper.
Then get that car painted so even if you don't get the bay and jams painted it won't look so bad because its black. (works with black,white or silver cars)

Then in the end the painting will be cheaper (no jams or bay) and you will save a rare color haha

Your car your money. I say if you think it'll look good then do it, if you dont like it just have your dad paint it some other color. Assuming he doesn't mind.

i would say that the 2g wont look right with that color scheme. but it is your car, do as you wish.

my .02 cents, who cares if you have a rare colored dsm. Its paint people, you can always paint your "common" colored dsm if you so desire.

Do what you think will look best OP. Your car should appeal to your taste, don't worry about what others think.

That chamelion color looks great on the skyline but clean oem colors are the best on dsms! if its painted well im sure it will look good!

I would say keep the OEM color (looks good), I don't think you would be happy going the other route
