Hi, everyone i just got my car back from getting the new clutch installed and in result. The clutch pedal is much harder to push in and the shifter is harder to put into gear as well. Mechanic told me that he used OEM throw out bearing.
Any ideas ?

What clutch was used? Was the system properly bled? Either way, since you did not do the work, either something is messed up (take it back to him) or the pedal pressure has increased because you got an aftermarket clutch. Please report back with more information so we can properly diagnose.

I just finished calling the mechanic and he told me the reason for hard shifting is because he re-cut the flywheel. And he did everything that was necessary for changing a clutch. And no it was an OEM clutch and PP...

Could what he told me be true ?
