If you want to verify the exact original model and parts shipped with the car you can have him give you the VIN. Inside it is all the manufacturing data including engine type, model, and even factory. You can also run the vin through carfax and verify it's history.

As far as price, I'd personally look for something a bit lower, but that's a good price for a gsx to my knowledge. Then again I'd be looking for something a bit more stock.

Price is about right for a gsx and from the pictures the paint and body look good. my french isnt as good as it used to be but i believe in the description, he says there is no problems. but like the other comment get, the vin to run a car fax on it and before you change money for title give the car a good once over check for leaks, check the turbo for shaft play and all that good stuff

If I could pick that up in Canada for 4k, I'd have already hitched a ride towards those wacky Trailer Park Boys. I bet it's Jim Lahey himself whose got that thing all tarped up at the side of his trailer, LOL.

I don't know about this one. There's. I picture of the engine bay so can't see things that may be wrong with it. Only good thing I see is the ets FMIC. And straight body. But not liking the painted calipers. I'd say need for info.

What more do you want? :p
Don't forget, in Canada DSMs are much more rare and thusly more expensive. Eclipses were never sold in Canada.

I'm assuming that before any purchase is made the appropriate investigations will have taken place.
EDIT: Didn't realize the guy was a french-canadien. Just don't bring up the FLQ!

Attached are more pictures of wheel/brake (brembos), engine bay and interior
Again, thank your for your time and I appreciate your comments

Buy it. Before I really do decide to go visit family.

Interesting dust covers on the strut towers. Overall looks very clean. Think that that's a first gen fp manifold? re: peeling.

It's hard to say much more than, just that you know whoever put this together loves their car.
