Ok so my suspension rebuild is done and everything checked out at the alignment shop today. The problem I have run into is that I also changed out all calipers and brake lines during the rebuild........
Now I have Cardone re-manned calipers and two of them appear to be seeping brake fluid from the threads of the bleeder screws. Anyone encountered anything like this before??
I torqued them to spec per the Chiltons manual and no dice.... So I tightened them some more but am still getting a bit of seepage... The drivers rear is my main concern as it has the largest amount of fluid just after being driven.
I was wondering if the solution would be to purchase new bleeder screws but I shouldnt have to as these are brand new that came with the calipers. The "rigged" option a friend suggested was teflon plumbers tape as that is what we use at work to seal leaks in air brake lines when needed......
Any help is appreciated!
