New build first start

I finally got my build up and running, its taken a while. About a month and a half back I had it done, fired it up and the oil pump siezed like 8 seconds into runnning. New oil pump on fired it up saturday night. Car runs. It will idle for a few then wants to drop down and die. I set base timing at 5* btc at around 800 rpms. Took it out of the garage and it doesnt want to drive under load. just moving it doesnt want to rev up. The more gas you give it, the slower you go hahah. Flipped the cas sunday and even without driving it, it doesnt want to rev up. I made an adapter plug for a 2g maf, if I screwed up on the wiring that could cause this correct? Also the CAS I know there is an indent on the end where it fits into the cam. At TDC is that supposed to be facing up? Any help will be great.

I had that problem and turns out one of my injector clips wasnt down all the way. But it also wouldnt run right with that 2g maf so i just took it off and put the 1g maf back on. It did exactly what youre talking about... start up and run for 5 seconds and die.
