New Airflow Sensor

I haven't been here in a while, and I remember when I left there was some discussion about an airflow sensor, possibly something like hotwire, that was being made for DSM's. I think it was already being used on LS1's or LT1's and possibly K cars. Can anyone tell me if these were ever actually done for us and if so how good they are and where I can get one and for how much?
