New 6 bolt....now some questions.

Ok so I got a good deal on a nice 6 bolt... I got it out of 1990 laser turbo fwd...I was wondering what parts are interchangeable: it has a 6 puck racing clutch...will it work in my awd.... Will the ecu work?(should be EPROM right?)...will the slotted rotors fit on my awd? Again these parts are off of a FWD 1990 laser. Any input would be greatly appreciated...this is my first motor swap so any tips or things to look out for while swapping a FWD motor into an AWD would be awesome... Thanks guys!

Also I have a dejon air intake with just a recirculation input that I want to put on and currently I am running the stock 1g air intake...I got a little filter for the crankcase breather for now(til I get a catchcan) and now I don't know what to do with the other line...I don't really want to remove the charcoal can so can I just plug the line that goes into the stock intake?(sorry if this is hard to understand, I'm tired and didn't know how else to word it )

The clutch is the same, the flywheels are different. The ecu will work. The rotors SHOULD be the same size since you have a 90. I think not until 92 did they change the size for them. I The one from the charcoal you can just vent to atmosphere for now until you remove it. The one from the size of the VC should have the breather and the PCV on the back should go to the intake manifold.

Just to clarify.... The hose coming from the charcoal can to the air intake can just be left unplugged? Or should I plug it with something? Also will I need his slave cylider for that clutch too? It looks stock but where the pushrod sits inside the slave is anodized purple and kinda looks aftermarket....i did grab the pushrod for the slave too though so I should just grab the slave huh?

Yea you can just leave that unpluged. Doesnt hurt anything. They do that just to keep all emissions going through the motor rather than venting to ATM but its no biggie. If it were me. I would go online and buy the block off plate for the EGR, remove that along with the charcoal canister and do it all at once.

The slaves are the same. The reason for the different color because it may be aftermarket and its an extended slave, which is a piggyback fix for not being able to get the clutch to properly disengage. I would use the stock one you have unless you run into that problem. In which case you can use the one he had.

Well I know someone that bought an egr valve delete and his car ran like shit afterwards so Im kinda worried about that...also I have to route the fuel tank vent hose away from the motor or get a vented gas cap? I don't know What I really want to do

Trust me. Youll be fine. And an EGR block off shouldnt do that unless he didnt put it on right. Which is very possible. Its a massive boost leak if its not square and sealed.
