Please dont delete moderators. I do not have the necessary post count to make a wanted ad but I can assure you I am an the forums almost everyday reading and learning new info. I just don't have a dsm technically so I cant contribute too much(though I am putting a 4g63t in my Mighty Max). I need a 14b wastegate actuator, can be any condition just needs to work, if anyone has a lead and could help it would be much appreciated. I have looked on all the DSM sites and in all the classifieds but no one has one for sale that I saw. Thanks a lot.

You might be able to get one at a Mitsubishi dealership, don't quote me on that though.

I'm Pretty Sure I have one Still laying around in the Garage somewhere I would have to Double check But just send me a PM with an Offer...
O and good luck with the Swap :thumb:...

It's official the Hangout forum is turning to shit lately.

Well what's the man to do?

A thread like this wouldn't be welcome in the newbie forum, that's obvious....I'm sure there's a 50-post restriction on the "want to buy" listings, so he can't post there looking for an actuator....this is the next-best thing.

The thread is two hours old and already he's found three members with access to the part he needs, so I'll say he did the right thing. I would've done the same if I was new to another car forum and I was looking for specific parts.

Just because the Hangout doesn't discuss rainbows and puppies or whatever makes Xioca happy, we can't discriminate.

I believe the minimum post count req. is there in an attempt to protect from scammers. So bypassing the site rules that the moderators have set up is generally frowned upon.

But no I'm just referring to the flood of threads regarding DSM's when the forum is clearly labeled as "All non-tech and non-DSM related discussions"

Rules are Rules. Break them and prepare to face the consequences. He already got suspended over at talk. There are ways around the post count problem. You could browse the classifieds and PM people/vendors. I just did this in the EVO forums where I have been a member for well over a year and wanted EVO parts for my DSM. It's not easy or simple as posting in the wrong section, but it works and won't get you banned.
