need to buy mandrel bends!!! help!! PLEASE!!!

hey guys, im going to build my own custom exhaust, i want 3 inch piping, what are some websites i can go to where i can find the right ( mandrel bends) already made for my car... i am looking for 3 inch piping, and does anyone know which bends i need for a 2g dsm tsi awd.... thanks alot...

I dont know which bends you need or anyone that has them for your car but you can go to www.jegs.com to buy whatever you need. I checked aroud a few places and they were the cheapest I could find when I was building my ic piping.

2gs are pretty strait shot, I dont even think you need a u-bend. We just done our 97 a few months ago, but I cant rember fo sho

I think you can run a straight pipe back with a 45* at the end to mout the muffler. Climb under the car and take a look. You should be able to tell what you need by looking at it.

Just buy a 45 degree bend and a 90 degree bend a flex section and flanges.

kind a bot out of topic but here goes.

TIG welding is the best way to join SS tubing but can one just use the ordinary welding rod? cuz i've already got a wedling rod and stainless steel rods are pretty easy to get, yea it will be bumpy and stuff but then can you just grind it down afterwards and buff it?
