hey i got a apexi twin chamber bov for sale. it was used for about 8 months. it already has the 2g flange attached. email me if u r interested [email protected]

The TiAL BOV is popular among the pros and cannot be recirculated. I've also heard good things about the HKS SSQV.

ya it recirculates or vents 2 atmosphere if u want to its still better because that option is still there. Its a vavle type not a piston they sux I've had a few and not 2 mention the adjustment is really easy.

Go with HKS SSQV, best valve you can find, no it doesn't leak on idle and yes it does have dual chamber quick responce design so your car won't stall out like with Greddy BOV. Also HKS can handle up to 30PSI and has the best venting sound of them all. If not HKS then Blitz would be a second best choice. Greddy is the slowest reacting bov and it handles only around 15PSI then it leaks, personally i thinkg that Greddy Type-S is POS:D none of my firnds like it.

I had 4 Hks SSQVs on different cars and it worked perfect.

No you cut your flange off and buy the steel flange for the HKS valve and have it welded on your pipe. It's pretty simple.

Since when does a greddy type s leak at 15 lbs? if had my car on a big 16g up to 20 lbs without the blowoff valve leakin at all...if yours leaked at 15 then it was either broken or not adjusted. I dont have facts to present, but i HIGHLY doubt a type s is the slowest reacting, but instead one of the quickest

Mine does not leak at all the greddy type-s is good for the price 2 hks ssqv leaks I swear it does they did a study on it ill find the page and post the link when I do find it. HKS SSQV = waste of money:thumbdown

It's both a personal preference and a experience of my friends.

My buddy had a Greddy-S installed on the Supra and it would stall out after boosting because BOV cloeses too slow and lets out too much metered Air. Also my other friend was running TD06-20H @ 25PSI and had a boost leak due to BOV not holding up and boost surge because it wasn't opening too soon, so he installed a second Greddy-S to cure the problem. Altough second bov helped, the complete setup didn't really perfomed 100%. Generally in Supra community Greaddy-S is not a very good BOV to get, I haven't seen too many MKIV guys running it eather.

Picture attached is my buddys dual Type-S setup

ok is that the picture of his supra with the twin bov setup because if it is and from what I can see the bov are adjusted all the way to soft. That would cause you 2 stall out if the adjustment is rite no problem as with anything if it is done wrong it will not work and sorry 2 say that setup is wrong my friend. :)

1g flange can be modified to fit greddy type S, but the HKS would require welding on a new flange...more hassle and not convenient for at home tuners...

for all of you that said the SS leaks you must have installed it wrong because almost every Supra out there runs a HKS SS and there are coutless supras running the SS with over 30 psi so how dose your leak if you are running max 20psi i have seen vidoes of supras with 40 to 50 psi with the SS so i'm not sure how yours leaks??

And you would know this because you own a supra???? Please don't tell me that you seen it on ur friends car if it isn't first hand experience then post an artical.
