Need some Pointers

I recently purchased a 95 GST. I've only had the car for a month but I need some advice as to what kind of mods i should get without tearing down the engine. It currently has Greddy intercooler piping, Greddy BOV, an Injen air filter and piping, stock eveything else. I was thinking about getting an exhuast along with a downpipe but wasn't sure about size, 2.5" or 3" (with cat). Any suggestions?
