Hey everyone! I just bought a new 97 TSI AWD and I am hoping to make it 350-400 horses. I pretty much know everything I need to do and want to do but the one thing I am not real smart on is the internals.

What will I need to replace, change over or upgrade for it to be able to hold that much horse power? I know some 1g parts are better than 2g and vise-versa but I am not sure which ones to which. Hope this makes sense..........

Please let me know and thanks ahead of time for the help!

It can handle it but internals are defintley a good idea if you want more reliability in the set-up. HAHA DSM and reliabilty in the same sentence.

The Rods are probably the first internal upgrade you'll want to do to the motor if you really want to, other than that new pistons would be good as well.

I say keep the internals stock and only push the boost up to 350-400HP when you need it, otherwise just keep the boost low and it will keep wear and tear of the stock components.
