Need some help identifying an exhaust and some question about flex sections

Ok first of all. I'm trying to indentify the exhaust found below. It's an o2 elim as you guys can see and the muffler located on it is made by someone company called Bulldog. Anyone know who made it?

Also if you notice in the downpipe section area, someone has cut out the flex and welded in a straight pipe.

I want to cut out the pipe and weld a flex section back in but I'm worried about making the pipe too short and causing issues. Can 3 inch flex sections be bought in diffrent lengths or would anyone have any other suggestions?

I just went to autozone and bought a cheap piece of flex in their muffler eisle for a couple of bucks. the RRE site listed above has the same exact thing listed as the SS flex and they are seriously charging a lot for it.

Just Go to autozone and get some of the same flex and weld that in there. I think i got a 20" piece and just cut it to fit.
