Need Some Advice! Unsure of Direction.

Hey all, having trouble deceiding on what to do, maybe you can help me out. Currently I have a 1996 Eclipse RS-T, stock internals, no IC running 5psi. I'll be the first to say that yes, it cost alot and no, it did not make a huge difference in power. Is it faster then stock? Yeah, not by a whole lot but yes. Never been to track but I G-teched a 15 flat. Anyways, a friend just bought a 1990 Talon AWD and took me for a ride. He launched and I immedietly felt like a moron for tuboing my car. His car cost $2000 and it felt like he would straight stomp my ass into the ground. My turbo kit cost more then that! So here is what I am thinking of doing and I am wondering if I am on the right track here. Oh I also have a truck that I daily drive.

Buy a 1st Gen awd for race, sell the truck and the turbo kit then daily drive the RS.

OR

Buy a 1st Gen AWD, keep the turbo kit on the eclipse, and daily drive it.

Those are my options. I added up the money to get my RS to where I want it and it's going to cost stupid amounts of money and time to get there. Now I know what you 4G63 guys keep talking about when you knock the 2GNT. I'd rather not sell my RS, just for certain reasons. I would prefer to keep it and daily drive it if anything. So what do you all think? Am I heading in the right direction here? I am starting to see the light here about the 4G63 potential. Also are there anythings I should look out for when buying one? Thanks for any replys, I know I asked alot. Its apprechiated.

If you care about speed, buy a 1st gen AWD. Daily drive the RS with or without a turbo kit. Sell the truck.
