Need Schooling on Electrical Procedures

I have an ongoing project that I can't find a wire schematic for: http://www.dsmtuners.com/threads/the-paperweight-awd-swapped.439208/page-6
Since I can't find schematics anywhere, how can I go about testing what pins on the cluster power each light, gauge, and so forth without blowing the components? I really want to get things figured out so I can finish this and install it.

If you pull your gauge cluster out you can follow the tracings on the back. It's a bit time consuming but easy to do.

I'm needing it for a non-DSM gauge cluster, the one shown in the link I provided. DSM clusters are easy and I've done that before, but the cluster I'm setting up for my car is a bit more complicated than a DSM cluster. I don't have a picture of the inside of my new cluster, but I haven't been able to trace anything.

What year it came from any info about it?

The cluster is for a 2014 Honda Accord V6 coupe with manual transmission.
