do i need this electrical part?

Where does the other end. ..end? It looks like a ground to me. You probably need it. But I'm sure you could shorten it..move it just be sure that it contacts the body and has a nice clean metal surface.

Yes that horn is for the factory alarm but its supposed to be bolted to the firewall up higher.

Not sure why i havent removed mine yet. Haha well horn works when the alarm goes off but i dont see any lights flashing.
