White smoke like burning oil smoke is coming out my of little oil filter thats on the vavle cover and smoke also is coming out of the oil cap when i take it off what would the problem be??

The car has oil.. Anyone please????

Oh yes no smoke is coming out of the exhaust.

First question, does your dip stick blow out when the car is run hard? If so it could be a hole in your piston etc, you could do a compression test but if your car has a lot of miles this is just kinda common.l

Ring wear allowing compression blow by into the crank case. All engines have some,the more wear the more blow by.Watch out for you dipstick blowing out if you have excessive blow by from boost .Dave.

White smoke is typically water vapor. Coming out the valvecover vent would probably mean a leaking headgasket.

If the car has not been run in a long time, it could just be condensation evaporating out of the crankcase.

If it smells sweet it is coolant (leaky headgasket).

1. Pull you licp and check for oil.

2. Compression test both dry and wet.

3. Boost leak test while listen for leaks under the valve cover, this will confirm the conditions of pcv and valve seals/guides.

4. How are you pcv and breather valves routed?
