ok in my 1g 1.8L, is it possible to pull out the engine without pulling out the tranny with it fairly easy or would it be easier to pull out both engine and tranny at the same time???? im just switching out engines and my dad thinks we need to pull both tranny and engine to get the engine out but i say otherwise. which is less of a hassle???

I've never done it personally, but from what ive read its almost impossible to pull the engine with the tranny still their. I think you should pull 'em both, it will be quicker anyway.
