Need quick answer

Just wondering if you can mount 225 series tires on stock 2G 16X6 chrome rims??? I know they will buldge and handling with suffer, I need the traction though. I need an answer quick so I can order tires tonight. Thanks in advance for the help. Brett

i dont know. tire dude told me 215 was the widest to be safe. thats what i got on mine.

When I got mine, it had 225 Fuldas on it. I think the rears cleared by less than ¼" on the inner side.
