I just put a Blitz kit on my 95 Talon. I need to find some license plates lights for it. I dont know what the stock 2G Eclipse lights look like so I dont know if I want to buy some. Can someone post a pic of there stock lights or their aftermarket lights. I was looking in the gallery but I cant see the lights in the pics. Thanks!

They sell bolts with LED's in them... pretty trick and you dont need any more holes in the bumper... mine, i found these flat light things in a junkard, i think they came from a minivan or something... they sit flush into the overhang above the lisence plate and they light it up perfectly legal but you can't see them from behind. :D

Check out a local junkyard and pull some type of maplights off of a minivan or some 80's car that had square pieces inside it... :shhh: then dont tell anybody where they came from

I've tried the led bolts. The shine straight out and do not light the plate up. I was hoping they would work. I believe I need to mount something above the plate under the lip that sticks out. I was wondering if the stock 2G Eclipse lights went up there?

I was hoping thats where they were. Are the sleek and descent looking? Maybe I'll buy some. Thanks

Those look like my stock Talon lights. Maybe I'll just use them then. What are they mounted to? Did you try screwing them to the outside of the bumper instead of sinking them in? Did they stick out then and look bad? Thanks!

Yes, they are the stock lights that came on my 99 Eclipse. The two square holes were cut and then the light assembly was mounted on the backside of the bumber so that nothing is visible except for the light. They are mounted like stock I believe. On my car, you cant see the holes or the lights. Just the glow. :thumb:
