Rear License plate bracket Questions

I know this is an old thread but I had the exact same problem a few weeks ago.
My rear license plate bracket rusted to nothing and I wasn't able to find one. I guess I was too lazy to drive to my local junk yard here in Orlando.
Finally I was able to get one from S&M Auto Parts (Concord, NC) - Miller Import Parts. 704-792-0660
They have a few eclipses that they part out. I placed the order over the phone and got my part in a few days.
I believe they told me they have a few extra ones in stock.

are you sure this fits? it looks totally different in pics ive found so have you used this one?

No, it does not fit, but you can modify it to fit.

I cut out the notches for the lights, then drilled two holes for each (a peg and a screw). I drilled the screw hole just slightly smaller than the stock screw so I could thread it using the screw itself. It worked. Then I drilled one hole in the bracket to bolt it to the bumper (third hole from the right). Same deal, just a little smaller than a standard 10mm bolt and used the bolt to thread it.

Then I painted the whole thing.

You can see the rusted bracket, or what was left of it. WTF!

I have to get some new license plate mounting hardware (black square thing that expands behind the bracket) and new screws. It will be the nicest looking thing on the damn car.
