I plan to buy this gst and make it my dd I spoke with the guy plenty of times to kinda make a decision on it just wana know what yal think http://miami.craigslist.org/mdc/cto/4479011826.html
it's going for 900 w/o motor and tarns I told him I would do $2500 if he would put the motor and trans ( new by the way ) if you guys know anything I can buy to make this better please let me know

I personally wouldn't take someone else project unless you have a lot of experiences and have spare parts laying around. It would be a lot of work just in body work and paint even if he put the motor in for you. I would keep looking take your time and find the best deal don't jump on the first one you see.

I would keep looking for other options. If you want it for a dd it looks like it will need a lot of work.

If you were buying it for a project then it could be alright.

Personally I wouldn't touch it, "new" motors are always a risk because a lot of people just aren't familiar enough with the platform to build them right. There are so many horror stories out there of people wrapping up thousands of dollars in a new engine and the shop they took it to didn't do it right or they didn't build it right if they did it them selves, then their engine blows up with in 10k miles or even much less than that. For a DD DSM I would try to find a GST with the original motor, just make sure all the maintenance is up to par and they will run for quite a long time. for finding a good DSM for a DD you need two things, Patience and luck :p
