I just recently purchased a
'95 Eagle Talon ESI that was pretty banged up. I replaced the suspension with the Tokico hp "blue" shock/spring kit. I've just finished the front end of the car and the wheels/tires that came with the car were from a Lexus
. They are 225/60-16 and there are spacers on all of them. They are too big for the car and the car scrapes everytime I hit any kind of bump or dip in the road and I'm tired of it! I'm restoring the car so I'm going to go ahead and buy some new wheels/tires. I just don't know what would work with my 1.5" lowered car! I was thinking about going with 215/45-17's. Do you guys think this would be a good size? Can I go bigger? I've been doing alot of searching and I think I want to go with these!
Tires- Sumitomo HTR Z
Wheels- ASA AR1 Black w/Mach Lip
Any help would be Greatly Appreciated! Thanks guys!

No need to mess around with anything else in my opinion, but that's just me.
