Need new head

My timming is off pretty bad. I have read some post and come to find out i need to rebuild my head. Its looks like its going to cost a lot to do it. I just think im going to buy a head to replace it. I want a head to were i just can bolt it up, and get the timming done. Heres is the head i think I want to buy. Please let me know if this will work.

Not to call you a liar, but rebuilding a head wont help a timing issue, unless somehow its letting the cams loose hold of the t-belt teeth allowing it to slip. What are your symptoms? Have you checked your timing with a timing light per the factory manual procedures? Explain "my timing is off pretty bad" please, then maybe we can help.

Haha, look into SIM racing, they do head rebuilds for a decent price and have been proven by a few members.

The cam gears timming marks are compliantly off. you can hear a slite knock or tap when it idles. It has no power when its in drive, and when you put your foot on the gas

Valves make a 'tinging' noise when they hit pistons (think tuning fork sound, not hammer on wood), not knock or tap or even bump noises. And they dont do it when you shut the motor off, they do it the whole time its running. However, by the time you hear this, its too late.

Like i said in your other thread (and yes its two threads about the same issue and wont help you get help faster) you need to post a pic of the motor in top dead center. To tell if its TDC from 'above' pull the timing cover off (just the top piece, three 10mm bolts IIRC) and rotate the motor till the dowel pins are at the top and the 4 marks on the cams are fairly even.

i agree with the possible crankwalk. but it could also be a collapsed lifter? need more info on the problem. no power and tapping could be 2 unrelated problems.

First off, 98 blocks very very crankwalk if at all. IT isn't a problem with them. And second, as i stated earlier. What about timing being off and a ticking noise tells you that he has crankwalk?
