Need more help with my Eclipse Gs

okay got i got the tire off, the hammer method worked fine. but now my question is, when the tire is off. is the rotor suppose to be really loose? cause a few days ago i whent around a turn and my front passenger side tire started grinding, anyone know what would cause it to do that. cause know my rotor basically will pull off just th caliper seems to be keeping it on. so should i go ahead and replace the rotor and brakes? thanks for all the help.

It is normal for the rotor to seem loose with the wheel off. The lugs hold it in place.
What kind of grinding do you hear. Metal to Metal? Which way were you turning? I had a grinding on the drivers side and it turned out to be the backing plate bent and during a hard right turn it would grind. Scared me. I just straighted out the plate and all was well.

Check you brake pads for excessive wear. It could be the warning built into the pad.

Could be bad Bearing. Does the wheel have a lot of play.

i finally just took it to the shop, turns out there was alot wrong with it, the tie-rods wheel bearings, hub bearings and theupper and lower control arms, and three other no major wheel problems. kinda sucks cause i just got the car in january and the guy i bought it from said he just had all that stuff replace cause it was in a minor accident involving the front passenger said tire and bumper. so i paid 4,000 for and know i gott put 1,500 in to just suspension crap. but thanks for offerin your help.
