Need info/ Advice on replacing cam angle sensor on a 95 GSX

Ok, I have isolated my fuel, but no spark problem back to the cam angle sensor. The problem is that my car is a 95 so it has the very poorly designed cam angle sensor that requires removing the intake gear to access the sensor. My question is this, would I necessarily need to go through the entire process of retiming the motor after I pull the belt (I just had my timing belt done approximately 15,000 miles ago)? Or could I simply mark the location of the belt in reference to the sprocket then reassemble without going through all the hassle of the complete timing belt procedure? I apologies if this is the wrong forum, but it didnt fit anywhere else.

the years 95-96 doesn't have a CAS.
But are you talking about the CRANK ANGLE SENSOR?

Thats odd. That site is either wrong or the terminology is different for some reason. Anyway, I am nearly positive that my car has a cam angle sensor because the sensor uses a pulse system from a magnetic wheel attached to the back of the intake cam gear. As well as a crank angle sensor located near the crank.
